Exercise 2 - Describe your ideal day.

Our days are hectic, clouded & foggy.
We run from here to there, not really knowing which destination we are heading to. I’d actually like you to slow down for this one & consider what your ideal day would be like... get into it, feel all the feels, taste all the tastes, smell all the smells... immerse yourself in the day & enjoy what comes up for you.

Consider, what what your ideal day be like.
Write all about your ideal day in detail.
Write how your ideal day would be like, feel like & what you would be doing.

Fears holds us back ... they are nature’s way of keeping us safe & out of trouble, however they are not fact & should be explored/questioned.

Now is the time to reflect upon the answers/responses you have given throughout the course & begin to summarise your findings.

Some questions may double up on what has been previously asked, however, the idea is to really make you aware of who you truly are, what you need to align yourself with in order to be on purpose & live a meaningful fulfilled life.

There is a strong connection between a person’s sense of purpose, resilience & happiness.

Exercise 8 - Writing Your Purpose Statement

Your personal purpose statement is a roadmap, it defines what you want to accomplish in life.

It gives you direction to accomplish what is important to you... as it reflects what you stand for, your passions, your goals and core values.

A personal purpose statement requires you to think about what is important to you... not important to someone else.

It's a self-discovery process. It helps you realise & accept who you are.

Coming up with a personal purpose statement requires you to realise your skills, talents, likes and dislikes.

You may surprise yourself and arrive at a whole new level of self-appreciation.

As you're thinking about where you want to get to, you'll also consider where you currently are. It will make you mindful of what you have now, how you achieved it, and the people who played a role in your journey.
This gives you a sense of gratitude.

Once written, you can refer to this statement as a guide to making life decisions. It will help you know how to spend your time, and possibly even what professional and personal networks to build.

With your statement, you'll know exactly what you want out of life and what you would like to contribute to the world. You'll know what you want your legacy to be.

Having a purpose statement will help you can avoid wasting time making decisions and carrying out behaviours that do not provide what you really want out of life and want to contribute to the world.

It will also help you realise who you are and stick to it, no matter what someone else may be doing or trying to persuade you to do.
